Venue invests in significant upgrade to lighting and rigging infrastructure.

Leeds Beckett Students Union is a two concert venue, bar and restaurant located on Leeds Beckett's City Campus. The venue attracts a wide range of artistes and the venue required a high specification, rider-friendly solution that was attractive to touring crews, promoters and agents.
Immersive has a long term relationship with the Students Union, with a Technical Management contract that includes Pete Shorten holding the role of Technical Manager for the venue and Immersive overseeing all the day to day production and operations, providing technical staff, crew and maintenance. When the Students Union decided to invest in a full new lighting system and replace all their existing rigging Immersive provided advice and consultation to determine the best possible equipment solution for the budget. A number of fixtures and products were provided for on site demo over a planning period of a number of weeks.

Immersive also specified a fully patchable custom dimmer and hot power rack that features 24 circuits of LSC dimming, 12 circuits of hot power, DMX buffers and an auxiliary 63A 3 Phase for touring lighting packages. The system was built and supplied by AC-ET. The final lighting solution comprised of a rig of Robe 150 LEDBeam Wash and Clay Paky Axcor 300 Spots with a Look Solutions Unique 2.1 Hazer for atmospheric.
The venues rigging was upgraded with EXE Rise D8 Plus Hoists and an SRS Rigging Motor Controller supplied by Area 4 Technologies.
The equipment was installed by R&M Productions and will now vastly improve the venues offering for touring productions for years to come.
