Prep Process
The prep process is vital in saving time for the client and ensuring our equipment is reliable onsite. Find out more about the stages we undertake to ensure an exceptional prep and service.
Our Process
We aim to prep our equipment to the highest standard, ensuring it’s in the best quality before sending it out to an event. This includes putting various processes in place to ensure the equipment is safe and organised correctly. Enforcing a high standard of prep process allows us to confidently send our equipment out and guarantee the smooth running of the clients’ events.
Fixtures
Before leaving the warehouse, we ensure fixtures are tested, optics and filters cleaned, addresses and modes reset to 001, address labels cleaned, accessories checked and spare fixtures marked. We can label and pre-address fixtures on your behalf in advance.
Paperwork
We take pride in delivering exceptional paperwork and documentation. This includes lighting and rigging plots, patch sheets, renders and health & safety documentation. We also provide a printed delivery note and an automated online rental agreement sent ahead of dispatch.
Cases
The majority of our cases are quarter truck sized (600mm), meaning they’re easier to stack 4 in a row in a truck. Our cable and pre-packaged trunks are all matching and have moveable dividers. All cases are cleaned and labelled before leaving the warehouse.
Cables
Every cable has an asset tag and coloured length label in heat shrink (see diagram below). All of our 16A connectors are black PCE and we use premium data connectors. We re-coil, clean and inspect every cable between jobs so they pack neatly in our cases.

Pre-Packaged Kits
