SGM Q-8
Description
The SGM Q-8 combines the compact size and low power consumption of the Q-7 series, the ergonomy of the Q-10, and the powerful strobe / blinder of the G-7 BeaSt in 2 separated linear arrays.
This high-TLCI DualSource luminaire features RGBW mixing, pixel-mapping control, 110deg and 75deg spread angles, and all the benefits of magnetic easy-fit filter frames. The range of filters include a vertical and horizontal diffuser as well as Medium Frost and the DOP Snapbag accessories for exceptional diffusion for use on camera for film & TV. It also features a range of parameter adjustments geared towards the broadcast market including +/- green, refresh rate changes, high CRI and calibrated colour temperature adjustments.
It is a waterproof studio light for close distances, a strobe effect for touring, and a direct view fixture in a lightweight and robust design: the definitive mid-size flood/blinder. Its rated as IP66 for ultimate touring durability, and we’ve tested in harsh environments against all the elements. For those looking for an alternative to the JDC-1 style strobe in an IP rated product the Q8 really does excel, with a pair of amazing pixel mappable line strobes.
